Elias Danner was born and raised in Heitersheim, close to Freiburg, southern Germany. He started taking pictures on film when he was about 12 years old and never lost his interest in photography.
He became a freelance photographer and is, since 2005, working with digital Nikon equipment. At this point in time he is most interested in nature, wildlife and astronomy photography besides having fashion and beauty sessions in studio as well as on location.
Elias is a member of the German Society of Astronomy, occasionally works on an Observatory in the Black Forest and gives presentations about photography / astronomy to different audiences all over Germany. Since he spent all last year working on Vancouver Island (British Columbia, Canada) he is now back to continue his work in southern Germany.
